Here are some links to some useful splinting videos. They aren't perfect but the best we could find.
In several, they use thin bandages to hold the splint in place and tie with bow ties. We recommend using wider ones (such as folded triangular bandages), tying with a binders knot on the opposite side from the injured limb.-
Lower Leg (anatomic splint):
